FANG 2: Air reservoir planning

On my page detailing my plans for FANG 2 I mentioned that I plan to use a reasonably cheap aluminum cylinder as both an air reservoir and stock. The reasons for this are simple: HPA is expensive, heavy, and inconvenient to fill. A low pressure tank can still get 50+ shots when the blaster is designed efficiently, can be very significantly lighter, and will be very convenient to fill. The low pressure tank also has the advantage of not being perceived as unfair despite that I believe it's a better choice than HPA. Go figure.

I finally got a good response back from the people at Catalina Cylinders about the fittings their low pressure cylinders use. The cylinder I wanted used a weird UNS (custom) thread that I couldn't find anything about. I noticed it was extremely similar to 3/4 inch NPT threads, so I called about that and left a message. The threads are not compatible with 3/4 inch NPT threads, but they do sell a bushing that will go from the odd 1 inch UNS threads to 1/4 inch NPT.

Sadly the price they gave was for 25+ units. I've asked about selling a single unit and am waiting for a response. The first time I called the person I spoke with said 1 unit wasn't a problem, so I'm not too worried.
